P50 - Engine inside a wheel

Known as the Little Honda, the P25 (known in Canada as the P50) was devised to cater to the important moped market and to create a light, economical step-thru that would particularly appeal to women riders. Like the original Cub of the previous decade it featured rear engine location, but the frugal Little Honda now had an overhead camshaft unit neatly built into the wheel and driving via an automatic clutch. No longer a rudimentary bicycle, the frame had front suspension and generous luggage capacity. Getting around town, the cottage, or the campground had never been easier or more fuel-efficient.
