It took quite a struggle to get the rubber air filter housing back into the frame, but I finally managed to do it and therefor there was enough space to get the carburettor off. Man, I really hope this will not be needed when I'm on the road. The trick is to leave the carburettor bolted to the cylinder while pulling back and folding in the rubber tube that sits on the carb. I have removed the seat and the two retainer bolts as well so I had enough room to work. More pictures about the tyres later!
